The Teachmeet is an idea that stemmed from making sharing of professional practice a bit less formal and time consuming. Teachers offered short, 5 minute presentations on an idea or concept they've been using in their classes, along with the benefits and reasons behind them.

There were some great contributions in this first event this year including some interesting mindfulness activities from Mr. Wichman to help with student stress and collaborative assessment strategies by Mr. Dowling to add some variety to student assessment. In total 7 staff presented ideas and were able to share useful activities to the group in less than an hour after the school day. A recording of the event was also taken and each teacher got their respective presentation recording given to them to keep for future use. The teachers also shared their emails with the whole staff group and if staff wanted any further information, they had a point of contact for that.
