Around a month ago, the BNDS LAX lacrosse club played off-campus against the BDFZ Lacrosse team. Getting the chance was extremely valuable since a previous on-campus match had to be canceled, and we had gained practical on-field experience.
The match took place during a BUX lacrosse meeting on May 3rd. It was a 5 versus 5 match, with one goaltender on each side, which sophisticated the game. BDFZ had plenty of backup players, while we only had 3. Everyone on our team was sweating throughout the match, especially Chevalier Yang, who had played a few rounds in a row. Albert Pan, the goaltender, played throughout the entire game and fended off multiple attacks. Our club leaders scored multiple goals, which put significant pressure on the other team.
The BNDS LAX team had made the most out of the difficult situations. The final score of 8:11 was impressive, considering the fact that a BDFZ alumnus, now a professional lacrosse athlete, was playing on the other team.
This match had unofficially made the BNDS LAX team second place among school lacrosse teams in Beijing, but we will not stop there. We will keep learning, improving, and striving for excellence.
You are always welcome to join the BNDS LAX lacrosse club, regardless of your skill level or experience. With your help, we have the potential to become the best team.
A list of players in the match from BNDS is as follows:
Nick Z.
Johnny L.
Changson D.
Chevalier Y.
AIbert P.
Peter N.
Kevin L.
They are some of our most active members and have contributed significantly to the club.
Thank you for your continual support.
